What this site stores on your device
Every cookie and pixel we use, what it does, how long it lasts, and how to turn the optional ones off.
This website uses a small number of cookies. One of them stops our enquiry form being flooded with spam and cannot be switched off. The rest are for measurement and advertising, they are switched off until you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time. This page explains each one.

What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. When you return, the site can read that file back. Cookies are used to remember things like whether you have already dismissed a banner, or to recognise that two page views came from the same visit.
We use the word "cookies" in this policy as shorthand for cookies and the technologies that behave like them:
- Local storage and session storage — browser storage that works much like a cookie but is not sent with every request.
- Pixels and tags — a tiny piece of code or image that loads from a third party and tells them a page was viewed or an action was taken.
- Software development kits and server-side events — code that reports activity to a third party without necessarily storing anything on your device.
Cookies set by fusionpaintingroofing.com.au are first-party. Cookies set by another domain loading in the page are third-party.

Why we use them
- To keep the site working and secure — chiefly to verify that a person, not a bot, is submitting our enquiry form.
- To understand how the site is used — which pages people read, where they leave, whether the quote form is hard to complete.
- To measure and target advertising — so we can tell whether an ad for our painting or roof services actually led to an enquiry, and so we do not waste money showing ads to people who have already contacted us.
We do not use cookies to build profiles for anyone else, and we do not sell or trade the data they generate.

Third-party providers change cookie names and lifetimes from time to time without telling us in advance. The tables above describe our configuration as at the last updated date. If you want a live view of what is actually set, use your browser's developer tools or a cookie-inspection extension.

Third-party pixels and who they are
Where you consent, the following third parties receive information about your visit — typically your IP address, browser and device details, the page you are on, and the action you took (for example, submitting an enquiry). Each has its own privacy policy:

Some of these providers process data outside Australia. Section 9 of our Privacy Policy explains what that means for you.

Managing your choices
When you first visit this site you are shown a cookie banner. Nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies runs until you make a choice. You can:
- Accept — analytics and advertising cookies are enabled.
- Reject — only strictly necessary cookies run. The site works exactly the same.
- Manage — opens a preferences panel where you can switch analytics and advertising on or off individually. Every switch starts in the on position, but nothing is actually enabled until you press a button in that panel.
Your choice is stored for 12 months, after which we will ask again. To change it before then, use the control below — it is also available from the footer of every page.
Withdrawing consent stops further collection. It does not undo processing that already happened while your consent was in place, and it does not delete data already held by a third-party provider — for that, use the provider's own controls or contact them directly.

Browser and device controls
You can also control cookies in your browser, independently of our banner. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or delete cookies when you close the browser:

Blocking all cookies in your browser may stop our enquiry form from submitting, because the anti-spam check will not be able to complete. If that happens, call us on 0469 745 442 or email us instead.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
There is no single agreed standard for how websites should respond to a browser "Do Not Track" header, and we do not currently respond to it. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to decline optional cookies and we will not enable analytics or advertising cookies unless you later opt in explicitly.

What happens if you decline
Nothing you care about. The site looks and works the same. You can still browse every page, read our notes and guides, request a quote, and call us. The only differences are that we will not know which pages you looked at, and we will not be able to tell whether an ad you saw was useful.
Declining does not affect your rights, the price you are quoted, or the service you receive.

Bookings and reviews
Booking. Our online booking is operated by Setmore. When a booking page or widget loads, Setmore sets its own cookies — to hold your session while you choose a time, to prevent double-booking, and for its own product analytics. The session cookies are strictly necessary to the booking function and are not covered by the consent categories above. Setmore's own analytics are governed by its privacy policy at setmore.com/privacy. If we change booking provider we will update this policy with the new provider's details.
Reviews. Reviews from our Google Business Profile are displayed on this site. Where that review content loads from Google, Google may set cookies when it loads. Reviews submitted directly through our own form do not set third-party cookies.

Changes to this policy
We update this page whenever we add, remove or reconfigure a cookie or tag — including if we change booking or review providers. The last updated date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. If a change means we need fresh consent from you, the notice will reappear.
